I know they work because I have them on my bike.
I also have a new back fender that I mounted to
swing arm, though. I haven't tried them with
stock fender but I'm told they work fine. I
measure about 4.5 inches for about .5 clearance.
As we say in aerospace "clearance is clearance":)

appreciated. I actually have a solo seat so I
guess the two little springs are my suspension!
